First grade. What did I want to be when I grew up? An artist, of course. Stepping on campus four years ago, I knew I had to turn my passion for creativity into a career. Before, I wasn’t sure what the difference between an artist and a designer was. As a recent graduate and somebody who has endured many all-nighters and InDesign crashes, I can confidently answer— both bring people joy, but design brings that joy in both a purposeful & unexpected way.
